Nearly 25 years of professional career in public finance management and managing projects/programmes financed by external bilateral/multilateral donors such as EU IPA, IMF, EBRD, EIB, and CEB.
With nearly 13 years of extensive experience as the Head of the Central Financing and Contracting Department (CFCD) within the Ministry of Finance in Macedonia, I was committed to the successful management and completion of an extensive portfolio, encompassing over 400 individual contracts funded through the Instrument for Pre-accession (IPA), combined with excellent proficiency in establishing internal control systems for the indirect management of EU pre-accession funds.
Possessing comprehensive expertise in the entire project management cycle, particularly in procurement and financial management. This proficiency extends to managing major infrastructure projects, coupled with a deep understanding of public administration in the Western Balkan Countries.
Since October 2020, working as an international expert, offering advisory services in the management of IPA funds under indirect management to national entities across pre-accession countries in the WB Region. A key strength lies in the ability to compare and extrapolate best practices from diverse contexts, including Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, and Montenegro. This blending of experience and insights can be effectively integrated and applied to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IPA structures managing EU funds.
