Served as Programme Manager for over 30 years with the European Union Delegation (EU)in Lebanon and United Nations Development Programmes (UNDP) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Throughout my 22 years of experience with the EU Delegation to Lebanon,I worked on human rights as well as civil society programmes where I led, managed, monitored and evaluated various EU funded civil society and gender-related programmes, initiatives and programmes with budgets reaching 12MEUR. I took part as member of Evaluation Committees established for Calls for Proposals/tenders t launched by the EU Delegation and/or Headquarters. I have collaborated with key stakeholders including other international donors, government and civil society actors to foster partnership and collaboration for an impactful relationship.
Currently, as an independent Result Oriented Monitoring (ROM) Non-Key Senior Expert, and holder of an ILO online certification for following “Monitoring & Evaluation Certification Programme”, I believe my experience, knowledge and skills acquired over the past years could contribute to promote EU principles and values on promoting civil society role in the development process as well as enhancing gender equality and drive positive change in women’s role and engagement across various sectors and within continents and countries.
