Sakina Asman is a Gender and SME Development Consultant and Project Manager with over nine years of experience designing and implementing inclusive development programmes across Africa. She specializes in gender equality, women and youth economic empowerment, SME development, and inclusive market systems, with extensive experience in EU- and donor-funded projects. She has worked with organizations including the European Union, TradeMark Africa, GIZ, Mastercard Foundation, USAID, and AfCFTA partners, supporting multi-country initiatives in project design, stakeholder coordination, digital inclusion, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Through this work, she has contributed to programmes that strengthen market access, enhance digital adoption, and improve the resilience and competitiveness of SMEs and underserved communities.
Sakina is the Founder and CEO of Raxman Impact Consulting Ltd and currently serves as an Independent and Lead Technical Consultant working with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In these roles, she supports programme design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, and resource mobilization. Her work bridges policy, private sector engagement, and community-level implementation, translating field insights into practical knowledge products, learning tools, and scalable solutions that strengthen development effectiveness and drive inclusive economic growth.
