São Miguel das Neves Silva (PhD) is a social anthropologist and senior consultant with 25 years of experience at the Humanitarian–Development–Peace (HDP) Nexus, knowledge management, and gender equality and social inclusion in fragile and conflict-affected settings across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. She is familiar with EU external action - including the HDP Nexus framework, Global Gateway and Team Europe - and has facilitated communities of practice, peer-learning and multi-stakeholder exchanges, including in online formats. She works in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. She is supporting the EU Nexus Lab as facilitator under the ESPRE facility, helping keep it a practical, trusted space for EU staff to share experience and operationalise the Nexus.
