Agro-economist by training and specialised for more than 20 years in management, monitoring & evaluation of development institutions and their programmes. After 7 years of fieldwork in the NGO sector, I established in 2007 as a freelance consultant and work mainly in advisory, evaluations and trainings for programming, design, management, monitoring and evaluation of international cooperation interventions (62 missions in 34 non-EU countries since 1996). Adopting a change management approach, I work on site with teams as well remotely, transferring my skills in facilitation and participatory techniques to the digital interfaces. My particular thematics of interests relate to local/territorial development, environment & biodiversity, agriculture & rural development, CSO and multi-stakeholder dynamics.
Thanks to a solid methodological background, I have been for more than15 years one of the few experts selected to train and support the European Commission staff (DG INTPA) in all dimensions of the intervention cycle management from programming to evaluation. I have also been part of the helpdesk and quality assurance services of DG INTPA on the design of monitoring and performance measurement frameworks as well as on evaluations commissioned by the European Delegations and INTPA headquarters on their intervention portfolios. I have a long experience in supporting EU institutions, she trained or coached staff from DG INTPA, DG NEAR, DG ECHO, FPI, EEAS and several decentralized agencies (ETF, JRC, EASO, FRONTEX…) and country/regional offices (EU Delegations).
My two "hats" - one as an agricultural engineer and the other as an expert in development methodologies - allow me to take a concrete approach to supporting and advising people, organizations and the visions and projects they carry. Beside my work as professional evaluator, I am also regularly involved in multi-actor facilitation and training and training of trainers. I have worked with a diversity of actors, including bilateral and multilateral cooperation agencies, political actors within partner governments, central and local government actors, NGOs, universities, and the private sector .... Having devoted my energy to a wide range of issues in many countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, I believe in agility and adaptability to drive positive change.
