Learning and research opportunities for and about Global Education are expanding. The deadline for the first international research summer school for Global Education and Learning is 15 April. The online courses from the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, as well as from Bridge 47, EADI and the International Cooperation Centre continue.

"Transformative education for times of crises: learning from decolonial and deep ecology practises" - an immersive experience
When and where? 10 March @18h - 13 March @14h (Thursday - Sunday), Froidefontaine, Belgium
For whom? practitioners and multipliers active in Global Education (GE), Global Citizenship Education (GCE), Education for Sustainable Development (EDS), Development Education and Awareness Raising (DEAR) and other types of education under the SDG Target 4.7.
Key questions:
- How has education perpetuated the ways of thinking, relating and acting that has brought us to this unprecedented stage of multiple global crises?
- What kind of learning can be responsive to the current and future realities of the anthropocene?
- What does it mean for our practice? How do we recalibrate education so as to equip us and others with dispositions to co-create different futures based on deep social and ecological accountability?
Pedagogical approach “Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures,” a trans-national collective of scholars, researchers and artists, and on learnings and insights stemming from deep ecology practice at Schumacher College, UK.
