Call for Expression of Interest (CEI) In Joining the Team Europe Democracy (TED) Network is closed

The selection of the Call for Expression of Interest (CEI) for civil society organisations (including think tanks, academic research centres and non-governmental organisations) and other practitioners engaged in promoting democracy and human rights at global and regional levels to apply to join the TED Network is now closed.  

The CEI was launched by the Team Europe Democracy (TED) Secretariat last February 2023. Its objective was to mobilise  key Europe-based stakeholders with global or regional outreach to join the TED Network, which aims at increasing the impact of European democracy support interventions at global and national levels. The expected added value of the TED Network is to offer a space to key stakeholders and practitioners to share lessons learned and strengthen evidence-based policy dialogue and formulation as well as support and improve joint collaborations to increase impact of their interventions, mainly in the three TED thematic priorities: Accountability and Rule of Law; Political and Civic Participation; and  Media and Digitalization.

The TED Secretariat is delighted to have received over 80 applications. The interest of the applicants was well distributed among the above 3 TED thematic priorities.  

The TED Secretariat thanks all applicants, which will soon receive information about the next steps in operationalising the TED Network.
