DeSIRA GRAPE

EU and EUMS Ambassadors went on a field visit in Karnali (far West of Nepal) from 19 to 24 March. Karnali is one of the most deprived and remote regions in Nepal and one of the focus areas for the EU-Nepal MIP 2021-2027.

Karnali’s long term vision “Organic Karnali” is very much in line with the EU’s own Green Deal and Farm to Fork Strategy. Looking forward to continued close cooperation, notably through a new project co-funded by EU, FI and DE on green, resilient, agricultural productive ecosystems (GRAPE).
