The Centre for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency (ECREE) of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the JRC signed a Memorandum of Understanding – An important document that will serve as a basis for a long term collaboration
The JRC and the Centre for Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency (ECREE) of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), at the occasion of the Vienna Energy Forum, organised by the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration This cooperation framework will facilitate the development of common tools (e.g. country specific maps with renewable energy based electricity costs), validation of results and publication. In addition, it will be expand the network between the JRC and regional partners for African-related research activities in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency.
