Learn about how I Am European built a more inclusive culture for migrants and refugees. Through personal stories of migrants, the project zoomed in on the reasons and drivers of migration. Over 1 000 teachers and 1 000 journalists contributed to the public debate on migration. Two journalists won Estonian media awards for their work, including for a simulation/interactive story (in Estonian) of Ukrainian refugees.
Watch People & Planet’s media campaign to reduce water waste, Game On’s games to encourage people to reduce their carbon footprint, as well as Food Wave’s collaborative cooking sessions, social lunches and dinners, art performances, urban horticulture and self-production workshops.
Last but not least, read about SPARK‘s support of Kenyan Climate activist Elizabeth Wathuti to secure over 140 000 signatures of an open letter - to inspire all nations at COP27 to agree to a Loss and Damage Fund. A historic success!
Keep an eye out for future publications at the bottom of the DEAR Programme page.
