The Ambassador Pawel Herczynski at the Europe Day 2025 in Batumi

The EU Delegation to Georgia brought Europe Day celebrations to Batumi on 21 June, with a vibrant public event showcasing the strong and growing partnership between the EU and the people of Georgia. The event was opened by Ambassador Pawel Herczynski at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel.

Visitors of all ages enjoyed interactive exhibits, cultural performances, and educational activities organised by EU Member State Embassies and EU-funded organisations. Highlights included the Bookshelf educational game, presentations by EU-funded projects showcasing their impact in Georgia, and the “Unique Georgian Taste” agro-market featuring local products from Georgian farmers. The celebration concluded with a concert by the popular Georgian bands Killages and Mechanical Rainbow.

As the lead implementer of the EU4Georgia 4 Project, NTU International supported the organisation of activities designed to enhance awareness, foster understanding, and strengthen the visibility of the European Union and its initiatives in Georgia.
