First Deadline among many EU Funding Opportunities: 24 February
DG INTPA has reorganised its entry points to funding opportunities. It links to the usual overview of EC Calls for Proposals and more specifically DG INTPA Calls for Proposals and Tenders.
DG Justice funding is also available for a tremendous range of projects. Of 12+ calls for proposals, the following are most relevant to the broader work of DEAR and Global Citizenship Education. But be fast, the first deadline is already 24 February 2022.
Call for proposals to promote equality and to fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination
The Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV) has five priorities:
- Fighting against intolerance, racism, xenophobia, discrimination, hate speech and hate crime;
- Promoting diversity management and inclusion at the workplace;
- Fighting discrimination against LGBTIQ people;
- Preventing, reporting and countering hate speech online;
- Restricted to public authorities to improve their responses to discrimination, racism and xenophobia.
Deadline: 24 February 2022
Call for proposals to promote gender equality
The Gender Equality Call, based on its 2020-2025 Strategy, focuses on two priorities:
- Equal participation and representation of women and men in political and economic decision making (at all levels - European, national, regional and local)
- Tackling gender stereotypes, including with a focus on youth, and in advertising and the media
Deadline: 16 March 2022
Call for proposals to protect and promote the rights of the child
Through the CERV programme (see above), and in the framework of the EU Strategy on the rights of the child, the funding focuses on the participation of children in political and democratic life.

Call for Proposals | EU4Youth with Eastern Partnership countries
EU4Youth supports actions that foster young people’s digital skills, skills for the green transition and for entrepreneurial and career management, with a focus on disadvantaged youth.
Actions of 18-30 months should take place in at least three Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Consortia should consist of 3-6 partners: one lead applicant + minimum two co-applicants. At least two of the partners should be from different Eastern Partnership countries.
The call is divided into two lots:
- Lot 1-Upskilling the digital competences of disadvantaged youth, promotion of entrepreneurship and support of related networking and partnerships. (Grants of €250,000 - €300,000).
- Development of youth social entrepreneurship and career management skills with focus on green and digital economies and support to related networking and partnerships. (Grants of €800,000 - €1,000,000).
