SUNDAY 31 AUGUST 2014: EUWI Multi-stakeholder Forum in Stockholm

Dear EUWI colleagues,

We would like to bring to your attention that the annual EUWI Multi-stakeholder Forum 2014 is planned to take place on Sunday 31 August 2014 in Stockholm.

This year, we have been allocated the Sunday afternoon, before the official opening of World Water Week, and we hope that this choice will not restrict participation to our meeting.

We would like therefore to ask you to take this into account for yourselves, and to inform your respective networks, in order to integrate our event in the planning of attendance to World Water Week. 

The 2014 EUWI MSF will build on last year's meeting, which focused on nexus opportunities. We will aim to continue to identify and prepare opportunities for further work in the different regions, in order to contribute to the implementation on the ground of key water-related policy orientations such as green economy, infrastructure development, nexus and in particular water and energy (theme of WWW 2014).

As you know, the EUWI meeting has the purpose to share experiences and ideas between the different regions, and to benefit from a constructive interaction of the audience. Your participation is therefore essential for the meeting to make a good contribution on the way forward.

Please accommodate this year's event in your plans, and alert your colleagues and partners who could make a useful contribution to our work.
