Sustainable Health Security - Africa

Team Europe Initiative

Description

The Team Europe Initiative (TEI) with Africa on Sustainable Health Security using a One Health Approach (TEI HSOH) aims to enhance health security across Africa by integrating efforts to address zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), food safety, and the health impacts of climate change. The initiative focuses on strengthening systems and capacities for sustainable, risk-informed prevention, preparedness, and response to infectious threats, adopting a One Health Approach. It aligns with Sustainable Development Goals 3 on Good Health and Well-being, SDG 2 on Zero Hunger, and SDG 15 on Life on Land.
