What should an assessment of organisation capacity look at? There is no right answer – those involved have to decide for themselves. But here is a tool to help you do precisely that.
The overarching objective of the training is to support the EU-UNICEF Child Rights Toolkit’s continued roll-out and take-up by development practitioners and that participants share the commitment to apply a child rights-based approach to development cooperation.This training is organised under the patronage of the EU Delegation to Tanzania and UNICEF Tanzania Specific objectives of the training are: ✓To strengthen the understanding and implementation of a child rights-based approach and the realization of children’s rights across sectors and programming stages, notably through concrete examples from EU implementing partners; ✓To enhance the capacity of development experts and practitioners working at country level in the EU Delegation, governments, bilateral- and multilateral agencies, civil society organizations and international organizations to integrate children’s rights in their work; and ✓To establish a reference network between Government and development cooperation agencies in Tanzania so as to maintain continuous momentum in the implementation of the Child Rights Toolkit.
