I (Emranul Haq) am a seasoned public health, nutrition, and development leader with over 25 years of experience in designing, managing, and implementing innovative health, nutrition, and systems-strengthening projects across Bangladesh and internationally. I have a distinguished track record of collaborating with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, DGHS, local governments, donors, and international partners—including European Union, FCDO, DFAT Australia, UNICEF, UNOPS, GIZ, Concern Worldwide, and CARE International—to drive sustainable improvements in public health, nutrition, climate change, agriculture based green development, health system, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health, Universal Health Coverage (UHC), digital health and automation, and food security.
As Chairperson of GRACE (Green Resilience and Cooperation for Ecosystems), I am currently driving community-based, resilient development models that empower marginalized groups and foster local ownership. I am recognized for my expertise in multisectoral partnership building, health system reform, digital innovation, and large-scale grant management, ensuring quality, accountability, and equitable outcomes.
Previously, I have served as Consortium Programme Manager at Concern Worldwide, leading urban health and nutrition governance initiatives, and as Team Leader and Senior Advisor with GIZ, where he influenced national policy, led technical teams, and supported the rollout of digital health information systems. His consultancy roles with UNOPS, ADB, WHO, UNICEF, and the Ministry of Health have further strengthened his strategic vision for sustainable health system transformation.
I am known for my commitment to honest and transparent work, maintain trustworthy professional relationship, regardless of the tier, and for sharing knowledge, advocating evidence-based approaches, and building capacity, facilitating workshops, policy dialogues, and international conferences. Beyond his professional achievements, he is passionate about promoting genuine human development without discrimination, fostering lifelong learning, and advocating for social equity in disadvantaged communities.

ram Association was created in 1957, at a time when African nations were gaining independence and developing countries were emerging as players on the international stage. Set up to promote rural actors as important players in the construction of these new States, the social engagement that initially inspired and drove Iram was subsequently formalised in a charter, and the organisation now operates as an associative consultancy firm
