France will host the Conference of the Parties (COP 21) in Paris from November 30 to December 11 to reach an agreement that will put the world on track to limit global warming to 1.5° or 2° C. Our capacity to feed 9.5 billion people in 2050 in a context of climate change will depend on our ability to keep our soils alive. France is proposing to take concrete actions to improve the health of soils by sequestering organic matter [1]. More information about this conference is available here [2].
