The *Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare* and the *National Institute for Employment and Professional Training* of Uruguay organised on 16th and 17th September 2014 the first *workshop on Labour Orientation for Returnees*. This activity was held within the framework of the *Pilot Project on Migration and Employment designed and implemented by the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare of Uruguay [1]*, and coordinated by FIIAPP. The objective was to *offer a labour orientation to the Uruguayan returnees*. In this sense, the workshop focused on the *current labour market in Uruguay* and *midterm perspectives*, as well as provided *information on social and labour regulations* approved in the last ten years and on the *rights *generated for the persons. El *Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social* (MTSS) y el *Instituto Nacional de Empleo y Formación Profesional*(INEFOP) de Uruguay realizaron los días 16 y 17 de septiembre de 2014, en Montevideo, Uruguay, el primer *Taller de Orientación Laboral para Retornados*. Esta actividad se organizó en el marco del *Proyecto Piloto sobre Migración y Empleo diseñado e implementado por el Ministerio de Trabajo y de Seguridad Social de Uruguay [1]*, y coordinado por FIIAPP. El objetivo era *brindar una orientación laboral grupal a los uruguayos retornados*. Para ello, el taller se orientó sobre el *mercado de trabajo actual de Uruguay *y las *perspectivas a mediano plazo*, así como aportó *información sobre la normativa social y laboral* aprobada en los últimos diez años y los derechos que ella genera para las personas.
