2017 Knowledge-Sharing Award goes to the “Environment, climate change and green economy” group

The 2017 Knowledge-Sharing Award was granted to DG DEVCO units C2 (Environment, ecosystems, biodiversity and wildlife) and C6 (Sustainable energy and climate change) for their joint effort to animate the Capacity4Dev group on "Environment, climate change and green economy", a group of 429 members, established in 2010.

This prize was given during the European Commission Cooperation Days, organised by the Directorate-Generals for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO) and for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations (NEAR).

The aim of this award is to acknowledge, recognise and stimulate staff supporting the internal corporate capacity building and knowledge-sharing strategy through the online digital platform Capacity4Dev.

The 2017 Knowledge Sharing Award has been assigned to the most dynamic group managed by EC staff. The selection is based on various criteria, such as the interest generated (on the basis of the number of content followers and the number of unique page views), and the level of engagement (number of contributors versus members).

The award has been received by Chantal Marijnissen, Head of DEVCO Unit C2, Felice Zaccheo, Head of DEVCO Unit C6.
