The 28th April celebrated the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, an international campaign driven by the International Labour Organization (ILO) to raise international awareness on occupational safety and health among trade unions, employers’ organizations and government representatives alike.
The initiative aims to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally, focusing on emerging trends in the field of occupational safety and health and on the magnitude of work-related injuries, diseases and fatalities worldwide.
Following this initiative, here are some resources developed within the RNSF project focusing on Safety and Health at work:
- A good practice from Ghana: https://europa.eu/capacity4dev/iesf/blog/good-practice-occupational-safety-and-health-procedures-ghana
- A set of good practices on OSH extracted from RNSF Volume 2 in RNSF newsletter: https://europa.eu/capacity4dev/iesf/blog/newsletter-6-line
- An interesting evaluation report from RNSF library: https://europa.eu/capacity4dev/iesf/document/independent-evaluation-ilo%E2%80%99s-strategy-occupational-safety-and-health-2013
- Another interesting report of our partner WIEGO: https://europa.eu/capacity4dev/iesf/document/decent-work-global-demands-home-workers-wiego-2016
