CALL FOR EXPERTS
DeSIRA-LIFT provides support services to the DeSIRA Initiative funded by DG INTPA (European Commission). We are currently looking for experts for two short-term opportunities in support of the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) and members work on Climate Smart Agriculture. Interested experts are requested to submit a CV and short motivation letter to desira.lift@wur.nl with a copy to ofatunbi@faraafrica.org.

ToR NKE 2.3: Terms of Reference for a Consultancy to Conduct a Scoping Study on the State of CSA in Africa - Expert in Climate-Smart Agriculture policy in Africa
Qualifications: at least masters level in a relevant discipline; at least 12 years’ relevant working experience in international development related areas and at least 5 years’ professional experience in areas directly relevant to climate change issues in Africa.
Expertise in agroecology is desirable. Experience of Participation in CoPs and understanding of the African dynamics with CSA.
Proficient in English
Assignment for 50 days (period: June-August 2022), daily fee rate: 700 euro

TOR NKE 2.4: Terms of Reference for a Consultancy to facilitate the Africa Biennial CSA Conference 2022
Qualifications: at least masters level in a relevant discipline; at least 12 years’ relevant working experience in areas directly relevant to international development, innovation with a social science perspective, knowledge and innovation systems, or likewise.
Proficient in English
Assignment for 15 days (period: July-September 2022), daily fee rate: 700 euro
The consultant will be required to travel to attend the 3-day CSA Biennial Conference in September 2022 in Accra, Ghana.
