Design competition for the Alexandria Film Festival poster and logo

The Egyptian Association of Film Writers and Critics (EAFWC)  and Egypt Point Progress have launched a competition to design the poster and the logo for the 31st Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean.

Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean countries is yearly film festival that includes features, shorts and digital films sections. Organized by the Egyptian Association of Film Writers and Critics (EAFWC), the festival aims to help strengthen the relationship between filmmakers throughout the Mediterranean. The 31st edition of the festival will take place from 10 to 16 September 2015

The main theme for the poster and the logo is the history of the Mediterranean culture.

The second sypmposium for Mediterranean Arts will be organized at the same period and around 15 artists from Mediterranean countries  will be invited to work together and exchange experiences with a number of Egyptian artists.

The winning artist will receive an invitation to participate in  the 2015 event. The organiser will cover the cost of the airline ticket. The cost of accommodation  (double room in Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza from 10 to 16 September 2015) and three meals will be covered. The symposium will cover the basic raw material for the workshop and visits to the monuments in Alexandria.

The Poster should have the following specifications:

1.The Dimension 29.7 cm x 42 cm or 297 mm x 420 mm in 300 dbi

2.The file extension ( jpg or pdf )

3.The Main title of the poster (the 31 Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries 2015 )

4.Subtitle 1 (From 10 to 16 September 2015 )

5.Subtitle 2 The organizers (Egyptian Association of Film Writers and Critics - EAFWC )

The Logo should have the following following specifications:

-The Dimension 17.6 cm x 25 cm or 176 mm x 250 mm in 300 dbi

-The main theme is the same as above mentioned
