DEVCO B3 participates in the Social Protection Inter-Agency Cooperation Board in New York

The third meeting of the Social Protection Inter-Agency Cooperation Board took place on 11 February 2013 at the UN headquarters in New York. Chaired jointly by the ILO and the World Bank, the meeting welcomed 48 participants from across 31 international organizations, including the EU, and bilateral institutions, as well as international NGOs. 

The meeting covered three topics:  (i) social protection in the context of the deliberations on the Post-2015 development agenda, (ii) inter-agency joint work at the country level, and (iii) cooperation in the field of social protection statistics. Specific work plans were agreed to achieve outcomes in the above mentioned areas.
