European Union and Mongolia Forest Partnership 🇲🇳
The Forest Partnership is a long-term political commitment between the European Union 🇪🇺 and Mongolia 🇲🇳, signed at COP 27 in November 2022, to protect, restore and ensure the sustainable use of Mongolia’s forests through a comprehensive, holistic and integrated approach, in support of inclusive national development.
The Partners also agreed on a Forest Partnership Roadmap with targets to be reached by 2030 to help sustain momentum and steer action towards the achievement of the objectives set in the MoU, as well as facilitate the mobilization of appropriate resources and attract the necessary investments.
