Free Course for People Working with Traumatized People
Discussion details
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We are excited to announce that our first self-paced online course in the Pragmatic Empowerment Training (PET) series, “The Caregiver-Client Relationship and Self-Care”, now has been published on our website and elsewhere.
The link to the course is http://www.cwwpp.org/course-1-the-caregiver-client-relationship.html and the link to the home page of the website is www.cwwpp.org.
The course is completely without charge. It is meant for anyone working with traumatized people, that is, asylum seekers and refugees, minority groups, and vulnerable people of any sort.
It is meant for members of the communities themselves and for those assisting them.
Taking the course requires no previous education of any sort. People can follow the course in written, audio, and video formats.
Please pass this link on to any person and any groups who you think might benefit from it.
Please tell us what you think of the course, and how we can improve it.
We very much welcome translations of it into various languages.
Please contact us about that. We expect that the next course in the series, on interpersonal and group communication, will be out sometime in the spring.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours in Peace,
Charles David Tauber, M.D.
