The EIGE – European Institute on Gender Equality - presents a new report of the review of the Implementation in the EU of area K of the Beijing Platform for Action: Women and the Environment.
It represents the first EU-wide report on gender equality and climate change at the EU level, introducing also indicators to support policy makers in measuring progress in climate.

Resource Guide on Gender and climate Change (UNDP, 2009). It aims at informing practitioners and policy makers of the linkages between gender equality and climate change and their importance in relation to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. It makes the case for why it is necessary to include women’s voices, needs and expertise in climate change policy and programming, and demonstrates how women’s contributions can strengthen the effectiveness of climate change measures.
