The EU's Gender Action Plan (GAP) III was adopted by the European Commission and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy in November 2020. It sets out an ambitious agenda for gender equality and women's empowerment in the EU's external action. GAP III aims to safeguard existing progress and advance towards the Sustainable Development Goals and other international commitments.
