The Learning Path

The Learning Path is a systematic, step-by-step approach to guide users through the process of transitioning from CRIS to OPSYS. There are 5 key phases in the Learning Path:

  • Discover
  • Navigate
  • Learn
  • Practice
  • Do & Ask

The path provides a sense of direction, with the possibility of revisiting certain tools or trainings that are relevant to specific needs. Each phase adds momentum that allows users to build their skills; from first time users with no prior experience, to seasoned practitioners who require specialised responses adapted to their context.

A variety of resources

The PowerPoint presentation attached includes icons that represent various learning modalities, including self-learning and guided learning that encompass resources such as e-learning, video tutorials, wikis, step-by-step guides, webinars, coaching, etc. offered in the Training Catalogue. Capacity4Dev members can download this document and adapt it for their presentations in delegations and HQ.

Trainings for External Partners and Internal Users

In the Discover phase, the user’s needs are addressed at a macro level, with webinars for example, whereas in the last phase of the learning path, it becomes a personalised and customised support service to the user. The Discover phase includes training options for external partners and internal users, whereas the other phases are available exclusively to internal users.

External partners can access resources on:

  • EU International Partnerships Academy
  • EXACT Wiki
  • Capacity4Dev and
  • Amazon Cloud

There are playlists for Implementing Partners and Operational Managers. Tutorials with a trainer are also available.

The OPSYS online documentation for external partners is accessible with an EU login on the EXACT Wiki. There are no pre-conditions to access these resources.
