Possible collaboration with USAID on Design and M&E
Discussion details
USAID is pleased to inform the public of a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) seeking research and development services in support of its newly launched localworks program. localworks is an opportunity to promote the capacity for locally-owned and led development by strengthening networks of local development actors and increasing access to local resources. Through this program, at least three USAID field Missions will be selected to implement a multi-year localworks program which will create bridges between key local actors and improve access to local resources.
This BAA is an opportunity to collaborate with USAID in research and development that advances our understanding of how to support, sustain, and measure these efforts. In particular, USAID is interested in ways to strengthen networks of local actors, increase access to domestic resources, conduct ongoing mapping of changes in local networks, understand constituent perspectives, monitor complex social changes, measure (and track shifts in) social capital, and facilitate multi-stakeholder processes. Public, private, for-profit, and non-profit organizations, as well as institutions of higher education, public international organizations, and non-governmental organizations are eligible to submit expressions of interest in response to this BAA.
The full Broad Agency Announcement may be downloaded from grants.gov at this link. Any questions may be submitted until June 26, 2015 through email to localworksideas@usaid.gov.
