Discussion details
The European Commission will organize a special panel on Right to Quality Education which will take place on the 4th of June from 9:30 to 11.00, at Tour and Taxi, being part of the European Development Days (https://eudevdays.eu/topics/right-quality-education).
European Development Days is an incubator of new ideas and forum to develop and share visions, which attracts, each year, about 5000 participants from over 140 countries, representing 1 200 organisations from the fields of development cooperation, human rights and humanitarian aid. The focus for EDD15 echoes the motto of the European Year for Development - ‘Our world, our dignity, our future’. This year’s programme will be structured around 4 themes and 12 topics and we kindly encourage you to register in advance both to the event (https://eudevdays.eu/register-anonymous).
The panel Right to Quality Education aims at engaging in dialogue with a range of stakeholders from different areas of activities and sharing current experiences and initiatives on the importance to move beyond a focus on access to give all children the opportunity of experiencing a transformative education, one that helps them to become informed, creative, active citizens.
In case you will not be able to be physically present to this event, we would like to let you know that this event will be web-streamed (https://eudevdays.eu/ )and you will have the opportunity to participate live to the discussions of the panel that will take place.
