Tragic news from Garamba National Park in DRC, where three rangers have died after a shootout on Saturday with elephant poachers. A fourth ranger and the park manager sustained gunshot wounds. Garamba is managed by African Parks Network with support from the EU Biodiversity for Life (B4Life) initiative, which works to protect and restore landscapes and wildlife, reduce poverty and build secure, sustainable livelihoods.
