Taking stock of the Roadmap process for engagement with Civil Society in countries in situations of fragility - lessons learnt

Here you will find an extract of the capitalisation report which focuses on the Roadmap process in contexts of fragility. This report can be interesting to you because it is a first comprehensive attempt to start drawing lessons from the RM process in countries in situations of fragility. Indeed, even if the Roadmap process is relatively new, important lessons are beginning to crystallize.

The report focuses on: (i) the trends in the context for EU engagement with CSOs (i.e. around the environment, trends of CS involvement in domestic policies and CSOs capacities); (ii) the process of dialogue with CSOs and of coordination with MS; and (iii) the content of EU engagement.The report ends with a number of practical examples on innovative practices to promote the Enabling Environment, to promote CS participation in public policies and dialogue as well as examples on capacity development.
