Dear all,

On behalf of the European Year for Development 2015 Civil Society Alliance, I have the great pleasure of inviting you to"RESPONSIBILITY TO ACT"!This outstanding event will take place in Luxembourg between the 7th and 9th of December in two amazing venues, Rotondes(Luxembourg City) as well as Maison du Savoir (Esch-Belval). EYD2015 Civil Society Alliance, led by CONCORD Europe, is organizing a session “Development is not about what Europe gives but how Europe lives” on the 9 December at 9 – 12.30 a.m. with the objective to discuss the lessons learned and the future of the Civil Society and its partnerships in the gathering of Civil Society Organisations, European policy-makers and representatives of the EU institutions.

This event, organized by theCaritas Luxembourgand theCercle des ONG(the umbrella organization of development NGOs in Luxembourg) during the Luxembourg Presidency of The Council of the European Union will bring together the greatest minds! Decision Makers, The Private Sector, Civil Society Actors and Academics from the Global South and North will discuss ways to strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships in order to successfully implement the Sustainable Development Goals(SDG) Framework.

The vehicular language of the conference will be English, French translations will be provided during all plenary discussions.
