On 4 and 5 October, representatives from the African Carribean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) held a special meeting in Brussels, in their Sub-committee on Sustainable Development in preparation for the 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP22) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) (Marrakesh, 7 - 18 November 2016).

Amongst the experts invited to give briefings on the Road to Marrakesh was Merlyn Van Voore, Senior Advisor Post Paris COP Implementation, of UN Environment. (see attached Power Point)

The two day meeting led to the adoption of an ACP Issues Paper for COP22, which is going to ACP Ambassadors for endorsement and is used to advise their capitals ahead of the COP.
