WATCH THE FILM: Young Water and Sanitation Professionals Shaping the Future

New York, March 21.- The European Commission's Directorate-General for International Partnerships and the Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance hosted the premiere of their new film "Young Water and Sanitation Professionals Shaping the Future" at the German House in New York City, as part of their activities within the UN 2023 Water Conference.

This film showcases the complex needs facing the water and sanitation sector and the inspiring solutions that young professionals provide in their daily work. 

Rukia, Tumain, Alex and Massaba, who are featured in the film, are a shining example of the skilled workforce driving innovation and sustainability in the water and sanitation sector in Tanzania and Mali. Their stories highlight the need for professional training and the technical skills required by water operators to address today's and tomorrow's challenges while leading technical innovations and digitalisation.
