What is the purpose of this web-group?

The web group is created as part of the internal CD learning process launched by Danida. The overall aim with this process is to increase the conceptual understanding about CD and contribute to a more strategic approach to Danida CD support.

The first part of the process is described in the ToR attached below and include amongst others a revision of the 'Guidance note on Danish support for Capacity Development' and a series of sector workshops which will  identify the key lessons learnt about how CD is – or is not – dealt with in Danish assistance in the sector, and potential alternatives for future CD work in the sector.

The aim is through this web-group to have an internal Danida forum for discussion on CD issues and sharing of experiences, documents and opinions. Only Danida staff can become members of the group.

Documents will be available under 'content' and may also appear as attachments in the 'blog'. It is quite easy to upload documents and write on the 'blog' once you get started, - and if you encounter any difficulties we are there to assist you!
