2nd Funding Round – GEAR UP! in Thuringia

Starting 8 October 2025, applications can be submitted for the second and final funding round of the EU project GEAR UP!.

• Project duration: 01/01/2026 – 31/12/2026
• Funding amount: €8,000 – €12,500 per project
• Application period: 08/10/2025 – 05/11/2025 (23:59 CET)

The call supports educational projects in Thuringia in the fields of Global Citizenship Education, Education for Sustainable Development, Global Learning, and Democracy Education. Eligible applicants include civil society organisations, schools, non-formal education providers, democracy education organisations, youth welfare institutions, and local/regional administrations.

2. Förderrunde GEAR UP! in Thüringen
Beantragung ab dem 08.10.2025

Mit dem EU-Projekt GEAR UP! fördert das Eine Welt Netzwerk Thüringen Bildungsprojekte im Bereich Global Citizenship Education, Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung, Globales Lernen und Demokratiebildung.

• Projektlaufzeit: 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2026
• Förderhöhe: 8.000 – 12.500 Euro pro Projekt
• Antragszeitraum: 08.10.2025 – 05.11.2025, 23:59 Uhr

Gefördert werden Projekte in Thüringen, in denen sich Kinder, Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene sowie pädagogische Fachkräfte für eine global nachhaltige Entwicklung engagieren.

Die Förderung richtet sich insbesondere an zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen. Außerdem können schulische und außerschulische Bildungsinstitutionen, Träger der Demokratiebildung und der freien Jugendhilfe sowie kommunale und regionale Verwaltungseinrichtungen mit Sitz in Thüringen Anträge stellen.
