Description
The No more bricks in the wall campaign will have its key momentum on 3rd October 2019, during the 28 Capital Events will be realised in all EU member states.
Financial support will be provided to selected organisations to realise the capital events in the following EU countries: Belgium, Croatia, Ireland, Czech Republic, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia, United Kingdom, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Luxemburg.
Objectives: Contribute to the No more bricks in the wall campaign, through the realisation of capital events in one of the target countries
Main activities: the realisation of capital events, including the achievement of the following minimum required outputs:
- projection of the selected project documentary on 3rd October in the capital towns and promotion of the petition
- organisation of events / activities (e.g. flash mob, art works, photo exhibitions, panels of discussions etc.) to ensure the max outreach of the campaign & the launch of the solidarity movement (through the petition)
- promotion of No More Brick in The Wall campaign and promotion of the petition Make 3rd October the European of Memory and Welcome
The side events / activities shall be proposed basing on the applicants experience, in the frame of a strategy of outreach that maximises the campaign objectives and impact and tailors it to their national contexts.
Who can be funded: non-state actors registered in the country where the capital event is to be realised and having proven experience of realisation of public events and of campaigning, awareness raising activities targeting politicians at national level (i.e. national decision makers)
Project location: Belgium, Croatia, Ireland, Czech Republic, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia, United Kingdom, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Luxemburg
Project duration: from 3 to 5 months
Min and max project budgets: 30.000 EUR – 55.000 EUR
Max contribution provided: 89% of the total budget
Deadline for submission: 30th June 2019
