Effective Capacity Development, from theory to practice
The Delegation of the European Union to Mozambique is organising a training course on capacity development to take place between the 12-15 November 2013.
Participants for the training include staff of the EUD, representatives of the Donor community in Mozambique and country partners from the Government of Mozambique as well as from civil society.
The purpose of the training are twofold:
- To create a consensus among stakeholders on effective ways to implement capacity development in Mozambique.
- To equip participants with knowledge on how to apply good practice principles in the design, implementation and review of capacity development programmes.
The training is structured around a core set of modules that has been developed by EuropeAid (see related documents on the right) which takes account of the five Quality Criteria for capacity development that are used to appraise programme designs and to monitor and evaluate implementation.
