EU Support to Research and Innovation for development in partner countries

Presentation and discussion of findings and recommendations
from the recent independent strategic evaluation

The evaluation showcases findings of EU cooperation for research and innovation in four sectors:

1. Food security, nutrition and agriculture
2. Health
3. Environment and climate change
4. Science, information society and Space

The evaluation presents conclusions on the overall EU approach to support research and innovation in partner countries, focusing on DG International cooperation and Development portfolio, but also assessing coherence of EU overall policies and activities in supporting Research and Innovation in partner countries. DG for Research and Innovation will complement the picture with results from FP7 programme activities, allowing for a broader debate around the EU perceived role and ambitions in this field.
