Event details
Description

On Sunday June 1st, 2014, the Brussels Capital Region presents this year's edition of the "Fête de l’environnement," a city-wide celebration of the environment ahead of World Environment Day (5 June). Every year, various community and international organisations alike gather to showcase their work to the public in this family-oriented event. This year's theme will focus on the bright future of Brussels, with participants asked to envision their versions of "Brussels, 25 years from now."
Among the activities planned are repair shops, demonstrations, arts and crafts, treasure hunts, and much more. The United Nations stand will inform the public of every day actions they can take to live in a more sustainable and eco-friendly manner, with tips and tricks from the GreenUp Campaign.
