HEALTH & WATER AT THE CORE OF THE EU-AFRICA PARTNERSHIP

A ROADMAP TO A HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

High-level event under the auspices of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU and in collaboration with WaterAid and DSW, on Friday 9 July at 14:00 CET

As part of the Slovenian Presidency, DSW and WaterAid are organising a high-level event on health for all as a priority of the new EU-Africa partnership, outlining the importance for the European Union and African Union to strengthen their cooperation in health, and in that framework, to pay stronger attention to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and the lack of access to water, sanitation and hygiene in healthcare facilities in particular in sub-Saharan Africa. The event will aim at strengthening the political will of both EU and African decision-makers in including health and water as priorities in the future EU-Africa Partnership. 

The event will be moderated by Anya Sitaram, Founding Director Rockhopper Media and BBC Tomorrow's World presenter.
