On June 5th - 6th 2018 UNESCO will take part in the 12th edition of the European Development Days (EDD) in Brussels

UNESCO will contribute to several discussions and the photo exhibition: “On air with Rural Women” will be accessible in the Food Truck Area over the two day event.

For the third year in a row, UNESCO will also be present at the interactive stand of the United Nations.

On the 5th of June, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education Ms. Stefania Giannini will take part in the panel discussion “All4SDG5: Young Leaders driving gender equality” together with High Representative of the European Union and Vice President of the European Commission HR/VP Federica Mogherini, and Minister Advisor to the President of Senegal Youssou N'Dour.

On the 6th of June many of UNESCO’s representatives will contribute to several discussions, and UNESCO Assistant Director-General for the Africa Department Mr. Firmin Edourad Matoko, will participate in the High Level Panel “Cultural Heritage and Creativity through Women’s Lens” along with Mr. Stefano Manservisi, Director General of the European Commission Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development, and Mr. Abel Prieto, Cuban Minister of Culture.
