KM Triversary Forum: Bridging the research-practice gap in knowledge management (KM)

The Forum theme is "Bridging the research-practice gap in knowledge management (KM)," and there are two subthemes:
Subtheme 1: How can we bridge the research-practice gap in KM? How can research inform better KM practice, and, on the other hand, how can KM practice needs better inform research priorities?
Subtheme 2: What is the latest research benefiting KM practice?

We have chosen this theme and the related sub-themes because the disconnect between research and practice is one of the biggest challenges facing the further development of the field of knowledge management.
