Knowledge Partnership Day: Building Resilience at the Community Level and Promoting Inclusive Risk Governance

On 8 November 2018, a Knowledge Partnership Day takes place on how to build resilience at the community level and promote inclusive risk governance. As the impacts of natural hazards and climate change are local, disaster risk management and climate change adaptation efforts must be responsive to community priorities to improve development impacts.

The Knowledge Partnership Day brings together various stakeholders, including regional organizations, officials from ACP countries, the European Commission, NGOs and GFDRR/the World Bank, to discus the challenges and opportunities to enhance inclusive community resilience and inclusive risk governance. During the event, innovative projects will be showcased and lessons learned will be shared.
