Learn to be a Change Agent. Join our DET Facilitators Workshop (ITCILO Turin - 16 to 20 July, 2018)

Join this workshop for "Disability Equality Training facilitators" and learn how to raise awareness, change attitudes and promote change for disability inclusion in the world of work.

Disability Equality Training (DET) is a dynamic, focused, highly participatory group-work approach to changing attitudes and practices towards the greater inclusion of people with disabilities in mainstream employment, services and activities. This Training of Facilitators Workshop (ToF) aims to equip a very selected group of participants with the skills necessary to run DET training within their own work contexts.

The Workshop will be run by Maureen Gilbert, a disability expert with decades of experience in transmitting this effective and transformative approach to disability inclusion. Due to the practical and participatory nature of the workshop,  and to ensure individual attention and coaching, a maximum of 13 participants will be selected to attend the Facilitators’ Training.

If interested you are warmly encouraged to apply as soon as possible, and no later than 4 June, 2018. A limited number of partial fellowships is also available for qualifying candidates.
