Description
NDICI - Global Europe is the new EU instrument for international cooperation and partnerships. This conference will explain the following aspects of NDICI - Global Europe: (A) policy context, objective, novelty, priorities, structure, content; (B) Implementation (programming and executive implementation). It is aimed at development actors and other platforms who operate in the complex field of external action, who have an interest in EU policy. Participants will acquire the necessary knowledge to understand the framework in which the EU develops partnerships with the rest of the world. Moreover, they will become familiar with the scope and objectives of the instrument as well as the different processes of implementation, most notably programming. This will allow them to better identify opportunities in their context of action. The session will be given by unit D.3. INTPA - Coordination and oversight of Financing Instruments - in English and there will be a Q&A available in English and French at the end of the conference.
