[Opportunity] We are looking for educational partners!

DCYDE! (Digital Global Citizenship for Youngsters and Educators in Partnership) is an international education project that brings together young people and educators from Europe and the Global South through innovative learning experiences.

At its core, DCYDE! focuses on Global Citizenship Education (GCE) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project creates spaces where young people can critically explore global challenges, exchange perspectives across borders, and collaboratively develop creative outcomes for a more just and sustainable world.

What does DCYDE! look like in practice?

Imagine young people in Ghana and Germany co-producing a podcast series on climate justice. In their episodes, they discuss local impacts of the climate crisis, interview activists, and reflect on why its consequences are distributed so unequally across the world.

Or picture teenagers in Hungary and Mexico working together on a digital comic about the right to education, weaving together personal stories, local realities, and shared hopes for the future.

These are not just creative outputs. They are powerful learning processes that bring Global Citizenship Education, global solidarity, and partnership-based learning to life.

How the project works:

Within DCYDE!, partner organisations collaboratively design and facilitate digital, creative, and participatory learning processes with youth groups aged 15–30. Activities are implemented in international partnerships and are based on:

• collaboration on equal footing
• valuing local knowledge and lived experience
• diverse educational approaches
• digital and hybrid learning environments

Get involved

We are currently looking for committed project partners who are interested in co-creating and implementing DCYDE! activities together with youth groups in Thuringia, Germany. For some organisations, this may build on existing cooperation with EWNT; for others, it could mark the beginning of a new partnership.

Please note that contributions within the project – such as planning, facilitation, and coordination – are financially compensated in line with the project framework.
