An extraordinary and rare journey into the lives, issues, courage and triumph of the communities illuminated by the Women Barefoot Solar Engineers of Latin America.Award winning media personality and philanthropist, Pat Mitchell will lead a lively discussion with photographer Varial Cédric Houin, Barefoot College Founder Bunker Roy and CEO Meagan Fallone on the politics of ‘light’ & energy poverty.

Cédric Houin, Photographer & Author, undertook a 3 month journey to document the communities throughout 5 Latin American countries in the footsteps of the Barefoot Women Solar Engineers. This extraordinary journey and the images exhibited tell a story of poverty, inspiration and real solutions that are changing the world, one woman at a time.

All proceeds will benefit the Barefoot College and the release of Barefoot Media's first book: Doña Luz - Solar Mama Stories from Latin America:
