Last 12th of December 2014 the workshop on How to facilitate the reintegration of returnees to the Mexican national labour market? was held at the Secretary of Foreign Affairs in Mexico D.F.
This activity, organised by the Instituto de Estudios y Divulgación sobre Migración (INEDIM), the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of Labour and Social Welfare and the Ministry of the Interior of Mexico, took place within the framework of the Pilot Project on Migration and Employment formulated and implemented by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, under the FIIAPP coordination, exclusively and independently from the IOM.
The objetives of the workshop were:
- Identify skills acquired by migrants through the migration process,
- Get to know the available services,
- Elaborate a proposal of mechanism for actions.

- El Colegio de México (COLMEX)
- Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together (MATT)
- National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM)
- Unidad de Política Migratoria (UPM)
